THE BRIEF
This newly purchased property required extensive modernisation and extension. Pentagon worked closely with the client to carefully select the best materials to bring a 1960’s property up to date. The challenge with this project was a sloping location which required levelling to create a tiered living areas. There were essential two extensions, internal works and a external patio and landscaped garden.
THE RESULT
Pentagon dug out the sloping garden to install a retaining wall to create a levelled surface on which to build a double height rear extension. An oak floor ran through both levels. Pentagon used it’s creative thinking to reconfigure an existing cupboard to create a ‘Jack and Jill’ bathroom for two of the bedrooms. We fitted a gabled glass screen wall which provided magnificent views over the tree tops of the South Downs.
